The game kicked off with Kenilworth straight on the attack and it seemed they were not going to go down without a fight. Ajax starting seven spent a great deal of time defending which pushed Jack and Arron to the limit and caused Olli to make some cracking saves. Balls played up the lines by Olli Coop and Harry were just being intercepted by a strong line of Kenilworth defence. Lewis Cleary working well in central defence and played good passes up the middle of the pitch. Liam Hearne our striker managed to break thought a few times but was unable to find the back of the net. Kenilworth were the first team to score and the goal was simple and came from nowhere. Last season in division 1 this harps team beat us twice so who knew what the result would be at this home cup match. Our team has gone from strength to strength this season only loosing 4 games and drawing once, what surprised the harps team was that we were first to score with a goal from Sammy Cafearo.
The second half kicked off and we had everything to play for but the determined harps team equalised meaning we needed to score again.
Matty Zeall then scored from a brilliant run but this was followed by another goal from the harps team. Full time came with the score 2-2 so extra time kicked off. Harry Coulthard started a run down the left side looking for passes all his way, but he carried on and smashed the ball towards the goal which was just about un-savable by any goalkeeper. 2-0 up and we still wanted more but the Wellesbourne keeper did there team proud by stopping attempts from Lewis Cleary, Oliver Coop and Sammy Cafearo.
